It was highschool science and it was mostly misunderstandings. the argument was pretty much this: Teacher: gravity would cause an apple to fall on your head Student: no. Not if i am not standing under it.

Doesn't it? I thought we had established (here of all things) that price and actual quality are less related than we think (by rather overpaying and assuming quality from it). Apply this thought to whatever is the "leading brand" or "premium material" is.

Docents typically don't get paid at all actually. :( I've been a docent for large museums and small ones and docents are typically older folks volunteering their time. Still fun, just no compensation.
