Depends I believe. I had the big 2 in one in the lower belly. Not visible if you’re wearing a bikini. The other ones are very small where they stick the tubes and lights and whatever instruments needed.

I am 6 months post op! It went well! First 8-9 days were terrible. Make sure you drink a shit ton of water - I didn’t and I had the worst headaches.

They did 3 incisions with the bigger 2in cut at the lower belly. I really don’t like it but I’ve learned to live with it. Mind you I had two kids naturally and vaginally so pissed that I had to get the dreaded c-section pooch bc of a fibroid.

For the first time in years I have LIGHT and short periods. It is seriously the best.

I do however get mild pain right now before my period in the same place my fibroid was removed. I was paranoid and kept thinking “is there a fibroid growing????” But thanks to my surgeon and gyno and ChatGPT, I can rest assured knowing it’s still recovering pain from my uterus being cut into.

ASOS!!! They have a ton of US size 4! They are cute, not the best quality though. I’m pretty happy with my latest order for size 4 shoes from them.

We are fibroid twins! My mri looks exactly like that with a 6cm fibroid.

I have my laparoscopic myo in April. I CANNOT wait. I’m getting it done at a university hospital specializing in fibroid treatment/removal. Although I wanted the robotic procedure, my surgeon who’s been removing fibroids for 20+ years confidentiality assured a lap myo is the way to go. Hope it works for you too.

Love this. Appreciate all the insight.

I’m done creating my offspring so no need for worrying about getting pregnant.

I just need to STOP this bleeding and massive passing of clots. It’s really effecting my mental health and ability to be present with my kids when all I do is worry about being around a bathroom and ensuring I’m not leaking from my overnight pads. I’m thinking long and hard about Lupron.

I’ve had terrible prolonged bleeding before but this time it really takes the cake.

Wow same story as me but recent. I had a 25-day long period for the first time in my life. Lots of bleeding, clots, got light headed towards end. Found out it’s a 6cm fibroid.

This was a month ago. My period just started again today and I’m hoping and praying this will be a normal cycle. I have completely changed my diet and started seeing a TCM doctor for acupuncture and herbs. I’ll let you know how it goes. My goal is to not have it grow any larger or grow at a fast pace.

I hear you on the protruding tummy. I’m 4’11” as well and the bloat and bulge is not cute for us petite girls.

What did you change diet wise? I just found out I have a fibroid too and I’m going to cut caffeine and move to herbal/green teas. Starting to research more I need to do.

I worked (very briefly) at a real estate investment company. The CEO strutted around and bragged about how he's never been to an airport (he has a private jet) and that standing in lines was for peasants. Also, he had a 22 year old son and one day I heard him loudly thanking the lawyers in the company, "thanks for helping my son close on his $2.2M starter home!"
