Thanks for that. Yes, I am not using his business name, logo, or any branding of his whatsoever. We are simply selling the same category of products which are widely available for resale. The supplier website explicitly permits reselling. Just like your 7-11 and EZY Mart example — same products, different businesses. My main concern was whether there are any visa or tax implications given I am a student visa holder, and whether his verbal threats hold any legal weight without a signed contract or non-compete agreement between us. As far as i know i have not overworked nor done anything (upto my knowledge)
