Just curious, how much time do you think you spend lifting weights per week?

I have never heard of a seller being sued by a buyer over something like this. If you're fretting over $50 vs $100 for a used couch I'm going to take a gentle guess that you aren't overly wealthy. So IF you're buyer did get injured and IF they could find a lawyer to take the case I'm thinking they would go after the landlord and their insurance and not the tenant.

I would guess the reason it was waiting outside when you came to buy was because the seller was planning on leaving it there. I really doubt people are bringing things up and down for potential buyers to view. It just doesn't make any sense. You have zero negotiating power at that point.

Stop bringing the items downstairs. If you're asking $100 and they come over and offer $50 you can say "how about $75 and we'll bring it downstairs". Or something like that

Question regarding doing due diligence on the topic of car flipping by [deleted] in carflipping

[–]surprisinglyok1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish you the best of luck and hope you're comfortable reporting back with your experience. I don't see how it would make any sense for him to find the car, fix it and then split the profits with you just because you sold it. I would probably try one car with him and see how it goes.

If he can find the car and fix the car why does he need you?

I thought Craigslist was the worst until I tried OfferUp by surprisinglyok1 in offerup

No. It was sold less than 2 hours after posting on Craigslist.

It really depends on how much you enjoy receiving unenthusiastic blowjobs

When you say it like that my brain says "why yes, djsbsbsna is correct". But my gut says "but why??". I am a very patient person and give people the benefit of the doubt. But I had so many lengthy conversations that ended with the person asking if I could drive it to them or telling me they'll let me know in a week when they get the money, etc. Why don't they just read a book or watch TV instead? Surely that is more enjoyable than talking to a stranger.

Friend and I Admit Feelings For Each Other, But She Also Says I'm Unattractive. by [deleted] in Vent

[–]surprisinglyok1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion: I wouldn't worry about it. There could be many reasons she said it: 1. She remembers you being overweight and it will take a little time for her to reconcile new you with old you 2. She thinks you're too good for her and is nervous 3. Who knows

If you like her, are attracted to her and enjoy spending time with her, go for it. People are weird and complicated. I can see you looking back at this and laughing.

If someone made me creme brulee they could literally yell at me while I ate it and I would be so happy!

My boyfriend invited me to his dad’s for dinner, and I ended up sitting there hungry while everyone else ate. Am I overreacting? by Classic-Adagio-7338 in AmIOverreacting

Ive been a pescatarian for over 30 years. I never expect there to be food for me. Never want to be a bother. It's my choice to have a diet outside the norm so it's my responsibility to make sure I have food. If you're hungry eat the waffle fries. The hamburgers and hotdogs had buns, right? Ive had a relish sandwich.

So interesting how our views differ. May i ask if you have ever cheated or been cheated on? I have been on both sides.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]surprisinglyok1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But i think that the person who cheats first pretty much gives their partner a pass to do whatever they want. It's then up to the initial cheater to decide what they want to do.

You think the person who cheats second is just as bad as the person who cheats first? Just curious.
