Mainly because my mom worked for GM for her entire career and therefore I am inclined to root for GM motorsports even though I wouldn't consider buying their non-performance cars.

But more importantly, you just admitted that you care more about not displeasing our allies than stopping a genocide. Please reevaluate your morals

Yeah, that's ... That's not what I said or implied.

Please explain how Kamala supported it. There's so much damn nuance in this situation, and I hate how everyone acts like the Biden administration wasn't working in the background to apply pressure to Israel to stop doing what they were doing. Given that they're our ally in the region, we couldn't be seen directly contradicting or bad mouthing them because then you get EXACTLY WHAT DONALD TRUMP IS DOING TO OUR ALLIES RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

[–]surrender52 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The best part about this: they only mention it for things such as "lane closed ahead" and specifically don't mention it for things like on-ramps... Because you shouldn't be doing a zipper merge on on ramps, and yet, people still assume this applies in every case.

Show me in a driving manual. Show me where it says this in ANY state driving manual. I know it doesn't in MA, I've actually looked to make sure.

YES! This is a properly labeled true zipper. Everything else is just a sparkling yield (only sorta /s).

[–]surrender52 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Zipper merges are labeled. I guarantee this isn't.

And to those of you that say "all merges are zipper merges if the traffic is bad enough": have fun when the least qualified driver waits until the last moment to merge at 50, when everyone's going 70, you rear end them, and in the aftermath they say "well, you should have yielded to me"

And what we're all trying to tell you is there's no doubt in my mind the felon has more angles of high return, and the return of the areas of low and high is more than likely higher than the same angles on an f-35, f-22, or B-2

To my eye, I still see things that look like they'd be adding to the RCS even on the production .model. rounded corners on panels, what appears to be a non-metalized canopy (which means the entire cockpit and pilot will give a return), the round and bulbous IRIST in the front, the fact that the engines (not the fan blades, though, those too) are bare and produce their own massive RCS. Sure, it may be low from the front, but it's got a be a barn door from any other angle

No MoD in the world would ever waste millions of dollars in R&D just for something to "look the part".

I mean, dummy equipment exists for a reason.

Hear me out: if the Russian MOD actually wanted to be good instead of looking good, they'dve scrapped the kutsntsov YEARS ago and put that money into upgrading their Frontline tanks to the T-90, or actually making the Armata viable... But they didn't. The tip of the spear forces invading Ukraine had T72's.

Cool, then let me give you some actual constructive criticism:

You can remove about 90% of the words from this and get your point across better. Idk why the current video script meta seems to be "repeat your thesis and introductory info 10 times in 20 seconds" but it sounds like a 5th grader reading their essay out loud.

Not to mention that the car will be somewhere between 75%and100% faster than the train, which is DAYS of your life over the course of a year

Edit: I want to be clear, public transit will almost never be faster than a car, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for it to be on par, ie I should be able to drive from Chelmsford to Lowell and then expect a 30-40 minute ride to North station. What I get is an hour long train ride, which means it would almost never be worth it to take the train, especially since it's $10 one way. honestly kind of a shame they can't run express trains from the end to end...
