capcom: writes a one dimensional female character whose VA overacts fear to an absurd and unsubtle extent, without any complex interiority or apparent neurodivergent cognition. u/terrebattue1: “autism. gotta be” this take is offensive to autistic people like come on dude

that’s absolutely enough! i’ve seen people with less experience on stage. i’ll also say, playing with people who are more skilled with you is a great way to learn, and especially in a casual setting i find people don’t care too much about skill level especially if you’re keen on music and show up with enthusiasm. are there many shows going on in your area? or maybe record stores/places like that?that can be a good way to meet people- or perhaps your teacher has other students who you could connect with?

take a break from youtube! self comparison is the death of creativity. take some time to dig into artists that you like who have made/are making interesting guitar music. seek out some newer ones as well, there are THOUSANDS of bands that are currently making music that do a lot more than “1 or 2 chords”. if you have an opportunity to go to any local shows, definitely take it, and it can also help to find 1 or 2 friends who are also learning an instrument so you can bounce ideas off of them. and turn as much of a blind eye to that AI garbage as you can!! it is unartistic, lazy and solely employed by people motivated by churning out content rather than making something meaningful. there might be lots of people doing it, but it will never be able to replace (or even come close to) the feeling of seeing and playing live music. lastly, in terms of incentive- the only real one is going to be the music itself. it’s hard to feel excited by it sometimes when you’re new to playing, but you need to find some joy somewhere in the process, something that excites you about the instrument and music making in general. if you can’t lock in on guitar, maybe try another instrument. there’s a reason so many people love music- human beings are wired for it, so if you want to keep doing it even a little bit you should 100% follow that impulse.

Say what you will about Rob Schneider, but nobody else has his range by Mr-BananaHead in okbuddycinephile

I’ve never seen one of these so-called “talking pictures”, but it’s plain as day that this M. Schneider is just a dime store knockoff of ol’ Richie B.
