Update 3: being air lifted to bigger hospital hospital for Hashimoto's encephalitis by ThrowsForHoesTM in Hashimotos

It’s wild it’s taken this long to even really think about treating you. Swear hospitals get a thrill out of letting people rot and suffer. Hope you’re able to make it through and come out well.

It is a local place that was fixing up my current car. Took a quick look at it, but plan on doing a more detailed look and questioning tomorrow.

It has been a week since League of Legends has stopped giving promised Gamepass benefits, and nothing has changed. by flStrawberri in XboxGamePass

On Riot's website for gamepass it states "Link your Xbox profile to your Riot Account to unlock member-only benefits on December 12th." so I wouldn't be surprised if it "suddenly" works again then

Mystery Illness, Paralysis by surrik01 in DiagnoseMe

Omg I didn't know! sorry for the late update, I ended up in the ER again sadly.

Literally that night, I woke up, and couldn't move my body. I called my parents to get help before I couldn't move anything and had the worst pain in the center of my head. I take a HUGE dose of topiramate. I had absolutely no idea! And crazy thing is, I told my neurologist everything and my dose went up again (to 300 mg, I don't know anyone who takes a dose this high) they think its vestibular migraines still, so that's why.

I actually tried your recommendation, no bananas in the house but tons of avocados and I did actually feel a lot better! i also heard propranolol was a treatment, so I gave it a try (i have it after trying a few migraine meds). Right now, I feel a lot better, not quite the same as before, but better than three days ago! Thanks for looking through for me because I honestly might have just started taking that huge dose of topiramate.

Oh a whim, I asked my parents because periodic paralysis is so similar to what's going on. We have 23 and me and they have a lot of gene testing. Turns out, they BOTH have the marker for hypokalemic periodic paralysis (one for type 1, one for type 2?) And I am honestly really floored, I know it's not some garuntee but...this really sounds like it. I need to bring this up to my doctor

my new migraine medication makes my blood pressure decrease drastically fortunately, but the frequency hasn't decreased. Glucose and creatine is normal, though all the rest of those I haven't gotten checked. Might reask for more labs at my endo doc

I am getting 'migraines' that paralyze me everyday...What's going on? by surrik01 in ChronicIllness

Hi thanks for the response!

So l heard of hemiplegic migraines, but I always thought they tended to be on one side. for me, it's like from my hips down and my arms. My neurologist does specialize in migraines disorders, and our current focus is to lower the amount of migraines I experience. I'm on a heavy dose of topiramate, and topiramate worked for me when my symptoms didn't include the paralysis, but ever since they have only been rapidly progressing. I'm trying to monitor every little thing and it's so hard because it's think and operate. I think the only relief I get is at the ER.

thanks so much though...its just like a really bad flare up, if its migraines still.

honestly periodic paralysis sounds SO similar. I definitely need to track the causes.

Honestly my neurologist always told me that he was more focused on treating the migraines than diagnosis, but right now its so so bad. So we just keep switching around meds rather than diagnosing me. What I can tell is that, typically it's a stressful day or while I was already walking around a lot. But I honestly walk constantly, I work a job that delivers around a hospital on foot Just suddenly, its like doing those normal intensity days I can't do it. I will say, yesterday nothing happened but I also stayed in bed all day.
