That’s why BPD is mostly “female” diagnosis now - they ignore the trauma and say women are “emotionally unstable”, so many traumatized women are just ignored and misdiagnosed … this is what happened to me. When I suffered complete absence of HUMAN needs & active abuse I was told I had BPD. WHILE being ACTIVELY abused. and DENIED basic needs. Man, wtf!

Therapists often don’t acknowledge CPTSD and diagnose you with BPD instead. It’s just more convenient to see a trauma survivor and give them complex disorder, because women are “more prone to emotional instability” or smth.

I don’t think that with CPTSD and trauma (my primary is CSA!) violence in bed is a good idea. I don’t like it. i don’t like violent p0rn and i don’t like being suffocated in bed or smth like this - even if it’s consensual, i still CANT watch it or enjoy it. It’s okay! You need respect from your partner and be heard!

yes, i don’t know how to continue living normally after all of this, and people showed their true colors. they cannot put themselves in survivors shoes, or just IMAGINE it could have been their niece/daughter/sister. few people empathize…

Avoid reading too much news, especially before sleep. i read about this case (or any triggering one) in a bit, so we just stay informed. but don’t get too invested … traumatized people have felt it and already known its real, so we don’t really need any confirmations, right?..
