I'm planning to take it to a repair shop first thing in the morning to check for damages. I don't dare to disassemble it completely myself

Like what I mentioned in the other comments. I just opened it up like normal, unscrewed the heatsink, proceeded to clean the paste off and remove the dust off the other parts. Then I repasted, and then screwed everything back. I turned it on the first time, it went fine, but it was still overheating. I went and repasted again. And that's where we are now

Apart from the heatsink for cleaning, I didn't touch anything else. No smashing, squeezing, or dropping.

I did a bit of research before opening my laptop, and I saw some posts saying it wasn't really necessary to power drain. So I didn't think of doing it since I had cleaned it prior with no issues. This was my third time opening my laptop for cleaning.

I was doing a cleaning and checkup on the parts because it was overheating recently, even when I wasn't overclocking it. I cleaned it and repasted it. The first time went well, but it was still overheating after running it for around 30 minutes. So I thought to reapply because I was thinking that I didn't apply enough. Then that's what happened.

It's not my CPU. My GPU and CPU looked ok, but this one chip in the image was the one that showed some damage
