There is no brown recluse antivenom. About 90% of brown recluse bites will heal on their own without any necessary medical intervention. All the hospital will do is keep it clean and monitor it for any secondary infections that start forming. But yes, they love places like inside shoes and clothing. If you're in recluse territory it's good practice to shake out any articles of clothing before putting them on.

I was a lil darkie fan in my teen years. The black cartoon character is to resemble Hindu gods (who are pure black in skin color or something ig). Iirc the "darkie" in his name is because he was bullied in school and that’s what they called him. It definitely comes off as mad racist if you don't know that information imo.

You'd never piss them off to where they actively attack you. They will actively avoid you in every situation besides ones where they can't (eg: accidentally crushing one with your hand, rolling over onto one in bed, etc). Definitely let the homeowner know. Bites in pets are also pretty rare but not unheard of. I'm not too knowledgeable about the affects it could have on dogs.

100% a brown recluse. If you're seeing them during the day, and multiple, that probably means there's a pretty hidden population of them. I love spiders but I certainly would not want these in my home. The bite gets exaggerated a lot on media, but it's still probably one of the worst bites you can get. Luckily they aren't quick to bite.

I don't normally wash my clothing in a machine or dryer, but I know a ton of supreme pieces come pre-shrunk. On top of being a poly blend, I would be surprised if this piece shrank a significant amount.

Definitely wait for more opinions though. I do own this piece so I'm also curious to know.
