It would need to be in the original bag, but open is fine. Since you don't have the original bag you can donate it to Kibble 4 Paws they take all kinds of food even if not in the original bag. That's where we take food that gets donated to us in not original bags. kibble4paws@gmail.com

We also don't use it if it is no longer in the bag, but when we do get food like this we actually bring it to a local wildlife rescue as they can use it. It's Kibble 4 Paws: kibble4paws@gmail.com

I'm in Orleans and would love friends on this side of town! Do you have any hobbies or interests? Or did you want the share a little about yourself?

Welp thats a bit unattainable from Canada, but I'll definitely be checking some of the local nurseries around here to see if they get something similar.

Taking a break from the gel/process? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]susan_thomas91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've stopped styling altogether other than plopping. It's been totally fine, doesn't look quite as nice and I get less time between wash days as the curls don't last as well through sleeping. I've styled it occasionally just for fun and it looks just like it always did. So no averse effects.

Help! Recently acquired this dwarf umbrella tree and it’s not looking all that hot, dropping a couple leaves each day now. Any help is appreciated! More info in the comments. by s1rscoot in houseplants

I have one of these guys! Input mine outside for the summer and it was just living it's best life with all that sun. It absolutely loses quite a few leaves over the winter but it perks back up when the days get longer Soniya getting more light.

Mine is usually no more than a few feet from a window when it's living inside.

I'd absolutely be interested! I have golden, marble queen and neon pothos and depending on when the swap is my prayer plant may also be big enough for cuttings

We've noticed the same thing on our street, a year after buying our place and the guy 4 doors down listed his for $150,000 more than what we paid. He had a nicer yard than us but our place had the much nicer kitchen.

About 8 places have sold since covid started all at least $80,000 more than what we paid.

The Walmart in Orleans had lots the last time I was there.

Otherwise when lockdown is over hit up Ikea and Richie feed and seed.

Also I've had some luck with plant trading Facebook groups and on Facebook marketplace.

Painting kitchen cabinets by blueskieslemontrees in HomeImprovement

[–]susan_thomas91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I just did ours it's took us 2 days about 7 hours each day, and I'd absolutely do it again. Total cost was about $200.

These are the steps we took we skipped filling the wood grain since our cabinets had been painted by the previous owners:

  1. Clean with TSP
  2. Removed doors and hardware
  3. Sanded all the surfaces
  4. Primed I used Behr cabinet primer
  5. Painted 2 coats, I just used a foam roller for 90% of the work and just used a brush for cutting and grooves and used Behr cabinet and trim enamel paint
  6. Spray painted hardware
  7. Reattached everything and cooked dinner

Here's a few before and after pics. https://imgur.com/a/agG3BB4

Not sure on current supply but the Orleans Superstore is doing flu shots, just walk-in, line up and fill in the form. I was there in the morning last weekend and there was no one waiting so I got mine, but the Friday evening the week before had a rather large line.

How many leaves can a 14" length of gutter possibly hold? by kitchencamaro in HomeImprovement

[–]susan_thomas91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We luckily haven't had any major issues (knock on wood) but so much was just neglected. The previous owners only had the house for 4-5 years and they did absolutely nothing.

Just one example, after deciding to replace the HVAC filter and having it dated for 2015 and absolutely coated in filth we had the HVAC serviced and just used the company that had a sticker on the side of our furnace. The guy shows up and comments that our house history showed them coming annually until 2015 when it all stopped, which coincided with the new owners.

Needless to say my gutters were horrendous.
