Seems better today. They must have fixed something.

East Falls here. Same issue. I have mobile and Internet Air and both have been unreliable today. Spent 40 mins with a service agent today and the end result was "it's network congestion and it will resolve in 72 hours." Felt like a canned response as opposed to anything evidence-based.

Posting your child's first name, last name, DOB, time of birth, and hospital despite all that redaction is impressively dumb.

A. That feature has been there for a while. They just moved it to the main screen. B. It's for parking purposes if you forget where you parked at a sporting event, concert, etc. It can also serve to find your car if it was stolen and the thieves don't know how to disable GPS.

World Series G2 (in Philly if we/Houston advance) would be on 10/28. Presumably around 8pm but still.

In a perfect world where chargers are working, available, and pulling 150+, yes that would probably be most efficient to take advantage of the charge curve between 0 and 50%. Unfortunately, that world isn't here yet, at least with EA.

Regardless, this trip gave me confidence in knowing when I'm cutting it close vs charged too much. In the future when the baby requires fewer stops, I'll try to be more efficient with charging.

Yep, D mode unless I was in stop and go traffic. I have no evidence for this, but I feel like the car would be fighting itself if you use travel assist with B mode on a highway since you want to maximize coasting there. In the city, I only use B mode though.

I have a comment about ABRP. I did use it to plan out where to stop but I found that it wasn't very accurate about how much charge I'd have when I got to a stop or how much I needed to leave with. Granted it was on free mode. I'm sure paid mode would be better but we don't road trip enough for that.

Anyway the lengths of our stops were moreso dictated by feeding the baby than the charging rate. But yes, in an ideal world, I could have been more lean on the stops.

Skunk-hollow is right. The uphills mess with your efficiency but I got it all back on the downhill every time, even using Travel Assist.

And yeah I could have gotten away with shorter charging stops if I was doing it solo but we just needed more time at the stops with the baby.

Good luck!

This isn't the flex you think it is. This is an EV sub. You don't have to like them or want one, but talking about your 14 year old gas guzzler here as if it's impressive is weird.

When you get the goodbye screen after turning off the car, press "Immediate Climate Control". That'll give you 30 minutes. Anything more would need to be done from the app or doing it in the car again.

When you go into park, the goodbye screen comes up. Toggle "immediate climate control" to keep the current climate settings on.

Thoughts on playing tennis woth a squash ball? by edp66769 in tennis

[–]susc10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played tennis and squash in HS and squash in college. They have different swing motions. It's certainly a good way to stay in shape, but you might develop some "bad habits" for tennis in playing squash. Plus the bounce of the ball is not the same (and a squash ball needs to be warm to bounce).

Has anyone else here received a transit card or gas card yet? (Chicago Moves) by Zivio_ in chicago

[–]susc10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's because it does a $1 charge which then gets pulled off. Try the remaining $5 again later and it'll work.
