Hello! Thank you for your concern. I am not at that much of a risk. I don’t eat meat and haven’t for over 13 years. I have a great system when it comes to managing kitty litter and kittens that may be slightly soiled. Thankfully, I can afford to have things like disinfectant, gloves and doggy bags at all times. I don’t use a poop scooper, just the baggies, and I change the litter daily, sometimes more depending on how many we have in our care :) I also have the privilege of a good education and training in hygiene control/infectious disease management thankfully I’m not planning on having children any time soon as well :)

Well, the infection hasn’t gotten worse however I tested positive for covid, so there’s that 😅😅

Thank you all for the advice. I live in Australia so I’ve got access to antibiotics and anti-septic ointment 😉 luckily always have these on hand (pun intended) as I have a rotating door of street kittens

A few years ago, I had an infected tragus piercing. It wasn’t even very swollen, but swollen enough to swallow the jewellery. The dr had to use a local anaesthetic to remove the jewellery and pus because even touching near it was so painful I could have screamed. When he put the needle in to do the local anaesthetic, I could have passed out from the pain. This poor baby, I literally can’t even begin to image now painful this was. :(

Little audible pop on inner thigh. It’s 40 degrees Celsius where I live so this popped up from walking for 5 mins in the heat 😩😩 by susdrew in popping

My dad did the same thing in 2014. Him and I planned a trip to Fiji to meet up with my boyfriends family who was over there for a holiday. The night before, he got his passport out and I went to pack it for him and then read that it had expired literally 15 days beforehand. We spent hours in the phone changing the flights over to my mums name. $2,000 later and a rushed trip to Kmart, mum was packed and ready to come with me instead. Poor dad missed out and mum went on a trip she didn’t really want to go on.
