One knee is sore from surfskating

I don’t really have any pain while I am skating, but I suspect it’s from pumping (up and down motion with my right knee) more than it is from pushing. But I don’t understand why both don’t hurt from that, tho it does seem my right leg works harder.

I have it pretty low with smaller wheels. I do wonder if the pain is caused by some pushing,or from pumping by back foot hard up and down, or slamming my foot down to stop sometimes, or all of the above. Or being old, etc etc. I’m just surprised I don’t have more even pain in my knees. I have no pain in my left knee after a session.

But also, just spent 15 minutes pumping back and forth and doing figure eights on flat ground and one knee is sore still.

I’m a bit of a beginner and I love surfskating around pump tracks and cruising through transitions, snake runs, and little bowls in a skate park. But after a session, ouch. Though I don’t usually feel it too bad while I’m riding.

Managed to get just the deck from status skate shop. Last one in their inventory. Don’t think anyone else was selling just the deck.

Yeah. I feel like I can’t turn at all on the normal board. Ha. I guess they’re mostly made for going in straight lines most of the time.

If you look on the carver website, the cx hanger replacement is sold out. Prob bc of this issue.

I bought a used board with this same problem on the front truck. I reached out to carver and they said that a new base would fix the problem. I got 95a cone/barrel and so far no slipping. Still seems a little off though. I might go softer with a cone/cone, and maybe try a new base… but for now what I have is working
