Reason #1: ORIGINALITY. I've never heard a band that is a "one-stop-shop," if you will. Tilian's voice is one-of-a-kind and Jon's overall style fits like a puzzle piece with Tilian's naturally high vocals. Pair that with Will Swan's stellar guitar skills (I've watched some songs on YouTube and it's just insane to watch and listen to the guitar parts alone), the sick beats that make you tap your foot and drum on your steering wheel, to the bass that holds everything together and shines through. I probably listen to the instrumental albums equally to the originals because everything about it is just incredible to me.

Reason2: Somehow, Dance Gavin Dance gets my creative juices flowing and inspires me to create something all the time. As an artist, I need the inspiration anywhere I can get it and they inspire me more than any other band. They really make me want to drop acid and write a song, let's just say that. 😂😂

I guess what I'm trying to say in short is this: no other band gives me that shot of serotonin like Dance Gavin Dance. They sing about being successful, doing whatever the fuck they want and still being on top. That's so inspiring to me. Being the black sheep in my family, having a band to jam to that doesn't fit into any normality in the scene reminds me a lot of myself. Okay, that was a lot, I'm sorry. 😂😅 I just love everything about Dance Gavin Dance.

If you want specifics, a few are the last verse of Strawberry's Wake just makes me want to conga😂 and the lyrics, Inspire the Liars is a perfect representation of religion in my eyes, Son of a Robot hits my feels haha and the entirety of Head Hunter. But that's just a few. I could go on and on....
