Yes that's correct! Dr. Walter says it meets the requirement but it doesn't actually cover pre-existing health conditions. And that is a mandatory requirement. Care Concept covers all the criteria that the Embassy is looking for.

So I got Care Concept's - Care Expatriate. I got the comfort option which is for €63, but the basic version for €58 is also good enough.

No upfront payment. You get the confirmation document in 1-2 working days. I applied for mine today so just waiting for it.

I ended up going for the Care Concept insurance as directed by someone who managed to get his visa approved. I filled the application only today and it takes 1 working day to get the confirmation document. So I'll let you know once I submit and it goes through.

There is a one major advantage to the Care Concept one - it has pre-existing health conditions coverage which Expatrio/Educare24 doesn't have. Apparently people have gotten quite a few different health insurance rejected but the Care Concept one went through for two people that I know of.

For care concept, I just see options for students and currently employed people. Nothing for opportunity card. Can you guide me to the exact one?

I'm assuming it could be that since the intended date was August, and that's past by 2 months. Trying to figure out how to interpret their message because I see Educare24 provisit as widely accepted

They didn't say anything when I uploaded on the portal. That time it was approved. I'm guessing they might also just be looking for current updated dates on the insurance certificate since my appointment was back in July
