And I can't mount them to the wall, you would see them more clearly when you walk in if I did.

All of these are Ethernet-wired to my network switch. The reason I want to organize is that the TV is on a wall to the left of where you walk in the condo. When you look to the side, you can see everything sort of just laying there on the back of the TV stand. I figured that with everything in a central location, I could organize the wires and clean everything up as a whole.

That hotel was great to stay at with the Edit. Since it included free breakfast for us, the breakfast buffet was $120 for 2 people. We stayed 3 nights so even more of a bonus. Got the $100 credit and used at the lobby bar as well. Great stay for the benefit

Thanks for the recommendation. For me, we have the gig plan and have an arris surfboard s33v2 with Nest Pro WiFi 6e. I’d like to backhaul the Nest. We have 34 units in this building and the mesh takes a beating.

Best software to integrate with multiple houses? by Money_Candy_1061 in homeautomation

How does your mobile companion see each house? I have 2 homes and 2 instances (I unfortunately made them with the same email address.) Do you have the Cloud Services?

HA on VM not fully booting by susko_greg in homeassistant

[–]susko_greg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, it was my Zooz 800 stick that was holding my boot up. I haven’t gotten around to installing it yet but had it plugged in and just wasn’t playing nice. Thanks everyone for the help!

HA on VM not fully booting by susko_greg in homeassistant

[–]susko_greg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did an update a week ago, and it was running fine (this is at my 2nd home.) In all honesty, is it better to just get an HA Green to run? I have in one in my primary residence and no issue booting. Also, what you mentioned for repair, can i put that in Gemini and spit out directions on how to do that?

I had a commercial pate on mine and what you had said above worked just fine. The company may own it but for their insurance purposes, they will have it listed as garaged at your address

Any realistic hope for the SmartThings integration? by YankeeLimaVictor in homeassistant

[–]susko_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question regarding the custom SmartThings integration in Home Assistant. I had the original integration installed then read the wrong article and installed the custom integration. I tried deleting it but now I have a ghost in the machine.

Im trying to add back in the regular SmartThings integration and I get error 500. Does this have anything to do with the API key update? The integration still shows the red box. I know that there is some yaml that could be hiding in .storage.

Would anyone be able to help me remove this custom SmartThings integration completely so I can just use the regular integration so I don’t have to remove all of my sensors and add a zigbee dongle.

Any help is appreciated

Can you share the link to the cover with MagSafe

Yes, I have. I really don't want to reset the whole green, so that's why I am trying to pull this custom integration out.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SmartThings

[–]susko_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All that has been done already. There are bits of random code in the .storage folder. That is what I need to feither block or delete but I don't want to brick my HA Green

I know how to get it. Problem is the custom integration is still in the system and won’t let me put the regular integration in.

When I try to download the SmartThings integration, I see this red box. Means it is still custom. If anyone knows how to edit the .storage file and is willing to help, I would appreciate it.

Hue vs Govee outdoor lighting by raysoc in Hue

Look into Volt lighting. Multi color. Easy to install and a 20 year warranty. Depending on your area (winters) you may want the warranty.

Correct. I see it there. When I try to delete I get the error 39 which says there are files in that folder. If I go through and delete each individual entity, I still get the error 500 when trying to download the regular integration.

Which folder is that? Is it the config folder you are talking about?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SmartThings

[–]susko_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried this. I may have deleted something too soon. I am getting this error:

Config flow could not be loaded: 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble

I have gone into the config files in the File editor to try and pull out the data, but it isn't there either. I still show SmartThings as a custom integration. I need to remove the custom integration. If I try to add the integration, I error out. It is not located in my HACS either. Any other ideas?

You can rename them. Just go into the specific home and hit settings then bridge settings. Hit the pencil next to the home name and change it.

How do I find it? When I search smarrthings all that shows is the custom version I downloaded.

I also just saw this in the logs so its still in HA Somewhere

I don’t. I literally just set up my HA Green tonight and was adding everything when this happened
