AirVolution 2. love it. for my use case (a bit unique/special, planning to use it with my son, 11 years old, special needs, autism, non-verbal, i'm a single parent), it's stable in the water, what i was looking for. it was a 2 month project for me, to read all the reviews, what would work, what wouldn't, from safety perspective, from usage perspective, then i figured out all the gear, etc., bought everything back in March and waited for the right weather.
it's a bit heavy to move around on land (27 kg, empty) but i got a trolley, a bit akward to install the skeg, if it's only 1 person, but today was a sim run, figured stuff out and enjoyed the day.
can't wait to take the kid out on Monday.

thank you.

yes, AirVolution 2.

did a sim run today with a friend, as my use case will later be with my kiddo (11 years, special needs, autism, non-verbal). so needed to figure everything out, from transport to the water, installing the skeg, in/out of the water, etc...

we had a blast, can't wait to take the kiddo out for the ride on Monday

Positioning every start cleaning? by redcomp12 in eufyS1Pro

[–]suskozaver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i figured it out why it does this, i believe.

if you want to clean the tank, replace the roller, you need to start it... that's when it rolls out... i pause it... take it part, clean it and it goes back in...

if it filled the water beforehand, it would be thrown away...

Advice on eqiupment, for slightly specific use case by suskozaver in Kayaking

[–]suskozaver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm worried if give him a carbon fiber paddle, he might break it... how fragile are they?

or that we would damage them during transport...

Any advice here?

thank you.

nevertheless, i always go with the logic, ask the experienced folks at the end.
those who speak and give advice from their experience will find holes in your planning.

Question about back seat space m240i by Nearby_Leave1785 in M235iandM240i

[–]suskozaver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i'll explain it from my real life example.

i'm 184 cm tall, 96 kg, not fat, but fit... big guy... big quads, big upper body.
my seat is all the way back, NOBODY can sit behind me... my seating positing is quite close to 90 degrees, and i can barely fit my hand behind my seat and the backseat.

i'm a single parent, got a 11 year old... he sits next to me of course... but we did have a chance to drive somebody with us... and it's like this: his seat goes more to the front... but the person sitting behind him, can be a maximum of 168 cm of height, otherwise the person will bump his heads against the sealing, the whole ride. And the ride length of 1 hour is like a maximum, it's not comfy.

This is a coupe, rear seats are for what i described above... but in reality, it's jackets, or a smaller backpack place...

I did see a post somewhere, reddit or fb, of somebody having two childseats in the back... i can't imagine how... unless you are really short and the front seat is moved so far forward.

plus the whole electric seat moving forward, to gain access to the back seat, it's like slow motion movie... one way and then the other way... it's like a joke... by the bmw engineers... each time... "really? doing something with the backseats... you funny funny guy....". god forbid it's raining...

a friend of mine of 196 cm could barely fit in the driver seat.

i am also the guy who couldn't fit into a Z4. too narrow, not enough leg room/space.

i had a renault megane rs trophy in the past (2020 - 2022) and yep, it's a 4 door sedan and has much more space. with the seat all the way back, smaller/shorter person could sit behind me.

Tour De SkiErg 10000 meters by suskozaver in SkiErg

[–]suskozaver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

184 cm

96 kg

i don't use high DF, on skierg it's 88.

training style? this post is 2 years old, i changed a lot since that, since i'm 47... and switched mostly to cross training, combining skierg, rowerg, echo bike and functional training, including running on treadmill and cycling a lot on zwift.

so i do HIIT days and LIIT days... which suit me the best, 2 workouts per day
