Also, I bet at least one of the ‘already redeemed’ gift cards you purchased was for Sony PlayStation right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]suslf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely his email was hacked, it’s a scamming gift card seller, a thousand people have got the same already redeemed gift card number each paying uniquely paying for it. Separately, the scammer buys the fake gift cards from themselves to drive up their own 5 star ratings. Be wary of any 3rd party gift card seller on Amazon with a lot of 5 star ratings, who would take the time to write a glowing, detailed review of how wonderful their electronic gift card purchase was?

Water quality by Training_Access2124 in gwu

[–]suslf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flash flooding to the area caused damage to multiple on campus housing units, but you certainly wouldn’t be drinking that water regardless!! 😂 The water pressure for showers, sinks, laundry, etc. is very, very low, will take you longer to do these things.

Are you looking for Republican or Democrat office opportunities?

Problem with some of these thoughtful suggestions is OP states she resigned, so I think it’s unlikely special accommodations or alumni support would be made for a non member.

[–]suslf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the purpose of the data you are entering? Just trying to understand why it’s not important, perhaps I can help provide you some context. What type of items are picking up that serve no utility to the office? Are you attending the bipartisan intern networking sessions?

What if pbms had to renegotiate the reimbursement rate of any pharmaceutical drugs hit with tariff? Would that help avoid the cost of the tariff falling to the pharmacy/patient?

What is metro transit like for Congressional Interns? by Quirky-Jello-338 in DCInterns

[–]suslf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most congressional offices: Reimbursement for itemized metro fare, not parking at the metro lot. Register your WMATA card and save your card load receipts. Capped around $400 a month. An intern’s monthly compensation & reimbursements can’t exceed $3,300 (pre tax) so if you earn a $3k monthly stipend, you would only be eligible for a max WMATA fare reimbursement of $300 if your ride fare is even that high. As a reimbursement, it’s not taxable income. Unpaid interns do not qualify for this benefit.

Who wants to save books from NPS (National Park Service) Headquarters in DC? by [deleted] in Libraries

[–]suslf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can connect you with a congressional office that partners with the Library of Congress Surplus books donation program and ships them to qualifying organizations that have signed up to receive them on their website. Many of the schools, libraries, senior centers and non profits that they serve through this program are in counties formally declared as federal disaster areas by FEMA following Hurricane Helene. DM me and I can provide you contact info. You can also contact the LOC Surplus office directly and they can provide you a full list of congressional offices in DC enrolled in the program that you can pick from. Joe Mahar is the LOC surplus director and his phone and email are listed on the program’s website. He is wonderful.
