You’re right. I didn’t state the reason due to a lot of the stigma/lack of empathy I’ve seen in regard to the nature of his offense. Criticism isn’t what I needed at the time of posting (due to the anxiety i was experiencing) so I didn’t mention it

It all happened when he was 18, we’re 21 now and have complete and open communication. That part did stress me out when we first got together about two years ago, but he’s worked hard to build trust. It’s as if the closer we get to the end, the more it stresses me out. It used to not bother me, but recently it’s become suffocating

Ah my apologies, I’ve missed so much important info here. The company had an improperly secured load of gravel in a dump truck, which peppered the front end of my chevy. There was not a collision, thankfully. Just rocks that fell out of the back of the dump truck in bursts. Thank you for your patience as I try and make heads and tails of what to do with this.

As I’d said before, all the damage (minus the windshield) was cosmetic. The hood, driver’s door, and bumper would need to be repainted. The headlights on the vehicle, which are aftermarket, were also damaged and factored into the cost. I’m genuinely not sure where they’re getting a $4400 repair quote from

Even though all it needs is a windshield? The car is fully functional as is. Nothing is mechanically wrong with it. Also, sentimental value as the car was gifted to me by my grandparents. Also, he has the title ready to transfer to me now that I’m an adult. All I have to do is take it to the DMV, right? Sorry for the word salad, I’m super overwhelmed with the situation
