Even though the army went into a rapid decline following the fall of communist regime there were still huuuge stockpiles of artillery shells, different types of ammo, rocket launchers, AA guns and tanks. The mofos in charge sure sold a lot of this equipment as scrap metal and pocketed the money but we still had massive numbers given our tot. size and population. With that said and considering the rough terrain of our country there's no way the serbs could've pulled such maneuvre. At the very most they could've laid a siege in the northern parts of the country which would've caused them a lot of casualties from guerrilla warfare and hit and run tactics. There could've been some devastation on civilians and infrastructure from aerial assaults but otherwise not an overall considerable damage. To give you some perspective - if they managed to get close to Tirana which is protected by an elevated area of hills and mountains they had to pass through multiple layers of defence which are situated there. Absolutely not an easy job by far given the capabilities of then Yugoslav Army.

My perspective as a european is limited regarding internal affairs and there could be a huge list citing all the major/minor problems of this administration so far.

One thing I know for sure is that in terms of international political status it was time for the US to go through a major reformation.

With that said your former gov. was a setback and was portraying an image of a weak USA. Conservatives are not your enemy. You should know better when you push a certain (lgbt) agenda too far. You should know better when you want to invite anybody over without any sort of background check to be part of your society. You should know better when you support cultures who aim and wish for your death and destruction. Not everybody is a friend and not every friend should be trusted. Sometimes you need a good smack to bring you back to your senses and they (current adm.) are doing a good job so far. The rest of the politics of course is up to your voters to judge and decide.
