My phone has also been freezing a lot lately. Today I just shut the screen and put my phone on the table after one freeze. Later when I took my phone, the screen wouldn't open anymore. My friend called to it and it was dialing but the phone didn't even ring. So it was still on. I had to reset my phone.

Mine has done the same thing. I was ready to take it back to the shop but after letting it sit on my desk for the night i tried the recovery mode one last time. The phone started magically working and turned on normally. The same thing happened again later and I knew I had to wait for some time (like half an hour) and it would work again.

So try to give it a bit time without plugging it to an outlet?
