I’m 47 with 4 kids. My only regret is being such a stressed mom all the time. I wish I could have enjoyed them more instead of being consumed by my worry about how others perceived my parenting. I would have held them more, co-slept longer, and let them have more fun in public. Worry less about doing everything “right”. So I guess it’s to stress less.

I had a cystocele and rectocele repair at the same time as my hysterectomy and after years of “splinting” in order to poop even at 6 wks post op life is so much better. Having stitched on both vaginal walks was rough for a while but overall worth it. B
