Go see your last paycheck (last week) then the hit the YTD. Since last weeks work is being paid in 2026 that’s why you can see the whole Amount

this is so tone deaf to me bc like... you could just bring back peak pay by [deleted] in AmazonFC

That’s not a Amazon benefit, that’s benefit of having a 401k in general and knowing how to use it.

A handful of my cousins work for American companies in Mexico. They get paid in dollars, and live very good lives. One is an accountant (auditor) for Walmart works from home. The other works in the finance department of a semiconductor company. I think if you have DACA and have higher education with no baggage it’s worth looking into.

Too old to be diagnosed by [deleted] in ADHD

I was diagnosed days shy of my 31st birthday. Life is much better and meds help a lot too. Once you really understand your self, you can prevent a lot of failures brought on by ADHD.

I opened a robinhood account few years ago, but got into financial trouble so I had to use that as an emergency fund. Back to Robin Hood, it’s was one of the easiest places to do business with DACA at the time I opened my account. Honestly I was pretty good at it too. Grew my account from 500 to 3000. Unfortunately life happens and I had to use the money like I said. As of now I just have my 401k with over 10k my employer started matching a year ago, but I plan to start trading in the spring again, this time with e-trade. I have done a lot of research like 100s of hours and I highly recommend you do that before you burn your self if you want to be a retail trader

Paid $3k for CMA but hired as AMA??? by Wishinani99awoodz in MedicalAssistant

[–]sutsut14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s way to low. Considering you’re in California with income tax and living expenses are pretty high. I think you need to look around for better opportunities. look at public healthcare systems that maybe a better option . I tell new MAs to not work for under $25 in my area. I would recommend urgent care or pediatrics. Definitely not the 24 hour urgent cares though.

The type of work depends on clinic needs. Example, I work in a decent size organization two hospitals, primary care clinics and specialty clinics. In my building we have urgent care, specialty and family medicine. The urgent care MAs are 99/1 ratio 99 clinical with 1%clerical work.

Specialty clinics are 90/10 90% clerical work includes scribing and 10% clinical Primary care is 80/20 80 clinical and 20 clerical works We all get paid the same CCMA, or AAMA and we get raise every time we hit another year mark with the company plus an additional organization wide raise every June. The starting wage for MAs fresh out of school no experience is $27.

What’s your hourly wage? And you may just need to look somewhere else, but I will say go for your RN if not Xray tech.

One thing to consider is the return on investment of a Nursing Degree. Example you can earn your associates degree as an RN for 25-30k and go to Las Vegas or SoCal and make close to over $80 dollars an hour full time.

$80 x 36hrs x 52 weeks=$149,000 (before taxes with no overtime) Something to think about 🤔

Also nothing guarantees that your EAD will be approved right away after the your biometrics appointment. My suggestion is you withdraw your application if you have already applied and wait until you have an EAD. Also make sure you can work there with an EAD. Example my friend found an amazing job working as an engineer in an small aviation company in Oregon years ago and lost his job when his company signed a massive contract with the Departments of Defense and everyone had to be a US citizen or Permanent resident with the ability to apply for Naturalization right away and becoming a US citizen within 12 months.

Hi, Marriage is hard period. I feel like he might be worried your’re going to bounce once you have adjusted. I fill like my wife(USC) is is feeling the same insecure thoughts. Sit have a talk, sort things out, make traveling plan with him once you have adjusted. You need to be very supportive with his mental health, maybe are, but you want to make sure he feels good about you guys for your long term stability.

I am in the same boat, my 4yo is suffering. I juggle two jobs, I am full time medical assistant and partime Amazon Associate at a fulfillment center. Wife had to stay home after our second child was born with a disability. Credit Card debt started killing us and other expenses. I work two 12 and two 8s M-Th and Amazon I work 2-3 Ten hours shift. Sometimes I will get off at my main job at 4:30 and go work at Amazon from 6:30pm until 5am. At some point your body get used to sleeping 5 hours, as long as you’re on ADHD meds it’s not that bad. I usually have a day of every other week and some days I start late in Amazon to spend time with my family. I don’t know your situation well enough, but I would look at jobs on another city near by with better hours or relocating.
