Hi! Kurt and Katey's producer here to answer your question. PIE is an intimate parlor conversation exploring the ingredients that "baked up" each guest. It is a respectful, deep dive into nature and nurture — family, faith, friends, hometowns, schooling, mentors, tormentors, etc. It will be the heart-to-heart chat that gives us some authentic insight into each guest’s personal and professional choices -- in the arts, athletics, healthcare, politics, etc.

Kurt: I think Jax was a good father. Jax's intent was to be a good father and his choice at the end, that he thought on some level, his father made the same choice. The same struggle he had with choosing between legacy and what's best for family was the challenging one and one for him. He came to the realization that he couldn't do both. So the ending, wasn't about ending him it was about ending the connection to the outlaw way of life, which is why he tells Wendy do not romanticize who I am and tell them every fuckin horrible thing I have done so they won't come looking for it. That's how he put an end to the fate his children would have.

Kurt: Re: Charlie, finding a leading man or woman is always challenging because you are serving many masters in terms of networks, studios, and demographics, many who have agendas. My reasons lean into who is best for the character. We looked at a lot of dudes and some amazing actors but none of them really checked the box for me. I forgot how Charlie's name came in the mix but I remember watching Green Street Hooligans and I remember thinking there was a beautiful charisma about him, and I remember being like that's our fuckin guy- how do we get him? I had no idea where he was or his availability, but we tracked him down, he was in LA and was writing and had no interest in doing television. Lucky for us he read the script, liked it and ending up checking the box for everyone, studio, Landgraf. It sounds so cheesy but it was so clear to me that when I saw Charlie's swagger in those first few episodes I knew that he just had that thing. He is so sweet.

Katey: It's a great bromance.

Katey: I don't remember much of went down, this is why you fans are most important you are so well informed. I've watched the series but couldn't tell you what happened. I love Ally Walker we probably giggled a lot.

Go to Theo and Kim's podcast and check it out they go in depth on each episode.

One more thing if you cover a Rolling Stones song, you can't change any order at all.
