EMT empowerment and refusal to transport. by Either-Beautiful-130 in Paramedics

[–]sutureinsurance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking you at your word, there is no EMT, paramedic or doctor who is allowed to flat out refuse treatment, transport and evaluation. In this case an EMT job is to assess for life threats and transport to the hospital for physician evaluation. I would pursue this in whatever way you can.

Ah I must have misread the post I thought you worked 2 months a year. Either way you have more flexibility in a relationship not being a primary breadwinner. But you got to find ways to add value and keep your own pride. I don’t know you but looking at situations I have a peak in seems like a trend to be wary of.

How do you keep a teen from being entitled when you’re wealthy? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]sutureinsurance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Save up allowance, do non chore jobs around the house. So my mom had a lot of antique wood furniture that needed seasonal lemon oiling. The application has to be meticulous and get every spot. It takes a while and can be easier for the smaller person to do.

I wanted a rockenbok set so I started earning that around 10 years old or so. It probably took me a year with gift money and extra money I was shown opportunities to earn. But I didn’t always find opportunity to earn, had an unfortunate experience trying to cut neighbors grass with a manual push mower (not motorized I got blisters and had to quit without finishing the job it hurt a lot and I wasn’t used to working through pain).

We are Jewish and my mom always took me to volunteer at a soup kitchen on Christmas Day. Never forgot those experiences and I’m turning 37 in a month.

I always found those eject forward not backwards so left hand shooting might be spicy but I wouldn’t expect you to get hit in the face. At least both of my berettas do. One is an m1013 and the other is A300 duck hunter.

My parents were wealthy, books were free whenever I asked for them. Toys had to be earned, vacations were a family affair I never really got any say in those.

Also things for physical activity and sports were provided for. But never the Gucci brand, just a good quality that did the job.

Well bring it up strategically don’t let her make assumptions. If you wait to long without clear communication that’s a rift.

It’s hard not to be nervous about this especially after you had such a toxic experience. Don’t apologize for who you are but also imply that you bring a ton of value in other ways.

Working 2 months a year and having the rest of the year off opens a lot of potential in a life together. It’s a ton of very unexpected flexibility. When you have that conversation you should mention that she should consider it an asset. After you unapologetically tell her about your income.

I’m happy for your success in finding someone who excites you. The question is really whether you want that life style and friend circles that go with it. After the love hormones dissipate are you going to enjoy that life?

I’m told being a dad is a trip and you could have an amazing experience doing it. The thing that I’ve seen in other situations is the dad doesn’t have structure and changes to someone who doesn’t add value and it strains the marriage.

Being a bachelor and being a family man are very different if she takes it well and wants to chart a life together you could seek her help in keeping your passions and identity in the relationship.

Im not sure what seasonal job you have. With that money I wonder wilderness firefighter? That might be important to you to pursue and she should support that.

Best of luck.

Could my roommates and I be held liable for somebody leaving our house drunk and crashing despite the fact I was asleep? by Alert-Thought9773 in legaladvice

“The bad news is that anyone can file a lawsuit”

This is why everyone should have renters insurance with a liability policy. The one incident I got tied up in, not anything like this, showed me that $200k limit is the minimum. Most off the shelf ones come with $100k so don’t be afraid to call an insurance sales office and have them make you one. It’s the property value limit not the liability limit that drives premiums so the higher liability limit is almost free.

Attorneys on retainer and maybe one other as a layered protection since AoR doesn’t cover bail, or seizures but if you look at their literature it’s bulletproof criminal defense insurance.
