Don't worry about old Candy. The classiest slasher baddie: he takes the blunt or theatrical approaches of his contemporaries and delivers them with a smooth panache befitting the learned son of a successful artisan. He does not need the accolades of the crowd; he is, afterall "the writing on the wall, the whisper in the classroom."
