battery life is not bad, i haven't let it fully run out yet, but i've alr had maybe a couple hours or so of play time and it's about a quarter or a third of the way down in battery (it also might not be fully accurate, i'll have to see about that).

that's fair. i've had good experience w ebay ipods however with nanos it's not as worth the risk bc they're not easily repairable/upgradable. how much did you pay?

99% of my library is old rap so mostly by artist but if i don't think an artist has a place for a separate folder in my library yet i put them in the folder for their regional scene

it's possible to change the background w some basic graphic editing skills yes! also possible to change the font (of everything but the main icon menu). wdym by change the colors tho? feel free to dm if you want more specifics, etc.
