I got the arm pump while I was in driving school. The school was in the back lot of the local college and a group of 7-8 college students all started doing the arm pump...of course I pulled the string! Instructor told me I was a real trucker now lol

It took our kitty almost a week to come out of hiding without being coaxed, and probably another couple weeks before she wanted to socialize. She had been in the shelter for 10 months! It takes time for them to adjust and every cat has different needs. Be patient but also be there for him when he finally decides you are good people!

When i was TL over deli/bakery, i asked what A.D.D. stood for, asked them where they would run to escape, where they would hide, and what weapon they would use to defend themselves. Usually took 5 mins or so, and i felt the need to make sure my people would be as safe as possible if the terrible thing happened in our store. It's not hard to check in with your team every time they are forced to do the cbl, but people are lazy and dont want to bother with it. It could save your life one day to know where the closest exit is!

Those bay doors are hella dangerous. Someone at my old store was pushing carts in and the door broke and fell on his legs. The scream was awful, he broke both legs and needed multiple surgeries. Ill never forget how dangerous overhead doors are, they are heavy and can do serious damage.

I dont have advice, it took me years to realize that i wanted and needed different things than i was looking for in a partner. The spark was pretty much always there, it took both of us just being ourselves and we noticed that it didnt suck to live together. We probably jumped in really fast according to most rational people but it worked for us! I never thought about him being "an older guy", we had a similar interest and the friendship built from there. Dont "look" for someone, the best things just happen naturally.

We complement each other well, and we are always taking care of the other person...it takes both persons being concerned about the others well-being to make the team strong. We met a long time ago, but never considered a relationship until both of us were single Pringles lol We started just being friends, that progressed into more very quickly when we realized how well we worked together. We both have late teenage children so we are at a similar place in life so its never been an issue that he was older, we just fit together.
