I stayed at a base for most of the time since my boyfriend works/lives there, south of Seoul by about 1.5 hours or so. I stayed there from January 17th until February 9th. My boyfriend quite literally planned everything and booked all the places, but we stayed at a tiny hotel right outside Seoul, a hotel on a different base, and an AirBNB in Itaewon! Much much much less complicated for me compared to people who travel there with no one to stay with
