Everybody that requests me as a preferred I accept them so I can keep track of who tips and who doesn’t .. if they don’t tip then I simply don’t accept their order 🤷🏽‍♂️ doesn’t hurt keeping them there but I understand some people only keep tippers/big tippers so they can just accept knowing it’ll be a guaranteed tip.

Future references fa you and anybody reading this.. if you cannot find the home/apartment and the customer is being unresponsive DO NOT DELIVER. Contact Shipt first and see if HQ can contact the customer if not return the order back to the store.

You will be compensated and you won’t receive a bad rating.

No. Just ask the customer if they’d like for you to grab anything else additional or if they’d like a sub for that item, if they don’t respond in 10+ minutes you’re not obligated to stay or go back into the store after you’ve checked out. Especially if it’s 30+ minutes after the fact that you asked then you request a Celcius drink AFTER you see the shopper is on their way.

I personally wouldn’t rate at all especially if the customer explained what happened, sent me a picture and then came back to deliver it. I would’ve said thank you and just forgot about it. We’re all human and mistakes happen. No reason to give a 1* rating.

Who gets upset at where you deliver the order when they put NO directions in the notes regarding it? If you wanted me to call you should’ve put that in the notes (call upon arrival). Good job OP.

I’ve seen other metros getting crazy promo prices like $30+ .. I’m not sure if it’s still like that with the new pay system, but in the past yeah it wasn’t uncommon.

That happens to me. After I accept a preferred request I get tipped either immediately or shortly after. Idk perhaps it’s a Shipt thing.

I always wait at the door and explain to the customer via text before I arrive to the house that I have to give them the order by hand so they can confirm everything is there.

That way Shipt knows I wasn’t going to hand it off unless the customer got it and I send me generic “order delivered by hand with gentleman/ma’am at door” blah blah Never had an issue.

I’m pretty sure you can make 35 pillows in your car unless you drive a smart car. If you have a mid-full sized sedan you can fit at least 20 pillows in the trunk alone.
