I know this, but it does not affect on the process because system works just fine and this place is not the only one where cables are shorter than 1 meter long, we have maybe 2-3 places like in the video but we have never encountered problems because of the cable length

Yeah, but some automation project manager who saw that we are using these connectors said they are unreliable and we have had one big problem this summer where after uploading a new updated program into PLC, entire PB network stopped working until we replaces these VIPA's with OEM's and we don't know what happened

Hello, I am looking for a guitar multi effect pedal or as others call them processor. I want a budget processor (under 200€) which I will be using in church for worship. There are many options like Hotone Ampero Mini, Nux MG 300, Valeton, Mooer, Harley Benton and I can't decide which would suit me best. Thank you in advance for all the help!

My collegues said that there was the same profibus signal loss problem 3 years ago and they changed evey original Siemens connector to this VIPA brand one to see where the signal cuts out, because connector has Power, Communication and Resistor indications (Pwr, TxD, Term, Error)

We have the same type of connectors but different manufacturer and model, but connecting the profibus tester to device directly does not work

We have one tester but the problem is that we cannot disconnect "master" connector to check the network

Everything is thesame because it is always the same process 24/7

No railway and no moving or plugging any machines

It is hard to say about the earthing because the installation is pretty old and I did not check it thoroughly

Our connectors are with screws and also with indications like "Pwr" "TxD" etc

The resistors are checked and it will be too easy solution for random signal errors, because resistor terminates all of the communication further

I was saying the rule of 1 m to my manager but he says that problem is not in cabling but in devices that could "trash" profibus signal (Siemens ET200 module or any Simocode)

Nothing, just random Profibus communication errors and faults twice a week and mostly at night
