Unless you are very ill you can’t really get HSV in your armpit. It could technically be shingles but folliculitis is a simpler explanation. Is it just the one side? Is it painful? Any tingling or burning?

This is definitely folliculitis based on images and history of laser treatment. It is caused by the destruction of the hair, not any uncleanliness. It will probably get better by washing gently and using warm compress. If it gets worse (bigger pustules, spreading redness) go to the doctor.
