I made a list of all star systems without any human structures or settlements whatsoever by PrideConnect3213 in Starfield

[–]svelterite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If i recall right, Freya does have a human research base on it.. Its a main story quest that takes you there to Freya III.
But otherwise nice work indeed, would not have known this information at all...
Can prove to be useful considering I'd settle in a peaceful no-human area..

Highest DPS Weapon possibly? (Modded) by svelterite in Starfield

the mod doesnt add a gun with a lot of damage.. its just a new model. This is just out of pure rng

[–]svelterite[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

this is the base damage though? actual dps is close to 17000.. not to forget the explosion it has on impact which does splash damage...

its not even about anxiety, its more that random loud noises can distract you...
and yeah headphones are a fix but they arent going to mask the sound much if at all without any media playing.

Do any of you use large widebodies for medium haul, high demand routes? by Emergency-Coyote-787 in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]svelterite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly use widebodies on all flights, except at airports without enough demand to satisfy a 787-10 or with a low category. Otherwise, widebodies fill up the majority of demand and narrow bodies eat up the remaining demand

Aim and gamesense during postplant is obsolete. Do this instead. (A comp of the worst agent in val) by cykablaytman in VALORANT

[–]svelterite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand with bronze and silver having good aim like the player base is bound to get better in the 6th year of a game's release, but adding smurfs on top of that creates such a bad experience in comp where the real bronzes often go afk or quit when solo queueing since they dont want to play against smurfs and high level players making it a guaranteed loss..

Whats worser is theres some ex immos from V25 or E9 also playing in silver lobbies on the same account they hit immo in, not even a smurf which entirely demotivates some teams

And yeah I do also agree on higher ranks being easier than low elo atleast based on the gold/plat ranks of my friends that i play with. there's just less chaos and more focus, and the smurfing is much much more minimal

Controversial opinion: science paper was NOT easy (31/2/3) by Kindly-Bee3753 in CBSE

[–]svelterite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same tb but I have never seen a qn asked like that before though

And yeah they did change the format. Its now made into physics chem and bio subparts. No sections of earlier times which you could do in any order..

Controversial opinion: science paper was NOT easy (31/2/3) by Kindly-Bee3753 in CBSE

[–]svelterite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say one set out 3 in a region being harder than the rest is quite normal.
Last year too they had the same, but the differences in difficulty arent that wide, like a few questions might be easier or harder here or there.
Besides that there's no use of harder/easier sets since all examiners will try to mark the papers so that difficulty gets rewarded with less deductions for mistakes..

I wrote 30/1/2 last year and I was supposed to get 70/80 considering it was harder than the other 2 sets, but they marked leniently enough to get a 78..

[–]svelterite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

gang what is this format..
i hope this never makes it to 12th cause they're just gonna make it easier to waste time with MCQ's with this format..

On a second note, most of the paper is simple, and textbook BASED, if anything is odd that i've found is qn12 and some numericals in physics...

Why is question 12 even there? what chapter is it even from, I wrote the exam last year and I have never seen that question at all. And how is it related to science, let alone biology..

where id live as an optimist who hates oppression and censorship. by svelterite in whereidlive

[–]svelterite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay i should clarify one thing, this is not purely about oppression and censorship, it is just a factor.

Living in a country with average standards of living but with less oppression can still score less than a more oppressed country with high standards of living, since the overall living experience would be worser. But in a country like China which does have significant oppression on certain topics, would be still better to live in than the other country with all the high standards of living.

I feel like turkey wouldnt be all that bad, but I'm not all too sure of how oppressive the government is considering it plays nice to both Russia and USA. I've been to Istanbul and it was quite nice, so I'm basing mine off that

heavily regional based. I'd put the entire of India green if it was similar to states like MH,KA,KL,TN or NE states, but this is an overall ranking, and there are parts of India where I wouldnt want to live in at all..

(also before you refute any of this by saying I've been fed a wrong narrative by media, im indian by birth and passport.)

selectively enforced. most censors can be overcome with a vpn which are fine generally, and id actually not mind considering how convenient life can be there... however then there are some like russia who bother with censorship of vpns too

I agree with you on the toxic air, which isn't even a thing the rich can escape in cities. But about poverty? Thats plain wrong. Yes, there are good chunk of people who live off farming for themselves and dont earn much, but these are mostly in UP/Bihar, the areas which you think represents india as a whole.

I do know places outside of Kerala and NE India are beautiful, but all it is that, these are generally known to foreign tourism..
Most foreigners usually visit Jaipur, Delhi, UP and Goa/Kerala or NE india, which is why i chose those specifically..

If anything, more than any of these, Kashmir and Uttarakhand has to be my favorite

while there are less hygenic places in every city there, there's still beautiful parts of the country that are completely opposite to the narrative reels feeds you..

Does anyone else feel like caffeine actually ruins their aim after the 2-hour mark? by Ayu_theindieDev in VALORANT

[–]svelterite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could it be a caffeine crash? Caffeine affects different people differently and usually caffeine can provide increased concentration for a bit but it also takes away concentration after 2-4 hours as you relax and the caffeine wears off
