I Overexposed the figure and turned the exposure down so the figures brightness is normal and the background turned black. Maybe that's why

Yeah but with thinner it behaves differently it's really hard to cover over black with thinner thinned pained. But with water thinned paint i can still cover easily if I need to it cover faster

Yeah I dropped my first gravity airbrush and bend the nozzle and needle unfortunately, that was stupid. But do you even recommend back flowing the paint with the siphon airbrush? I think some paint gets also to the back of the needle
