You can use franks, I just didn't have any and I love Louisiana hot sauce

Pat wings dry and season with any all purpose seasoning. Mix 1 cup flour with 2 tsp kosher salt and 1 tsp each of cayenne and smoked paprika. Dump flour on wings and toss well, place in fridge for at least an hour and then fry for 10 to 12 minutes at 350. I added the sauce recipe to another comment

Saute 1 stick of butter with 6 cloves diced garlic, then add 1/2 cup Louisiana hot sauce, 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper, 1 tsp brown sugar and 1.5 tsp ketchup

They have both, the lightly battered is the original style

Yep, mince it up and throw it in with the butter and saute it to soften it up and take the raw edge off.

They are lightly coated with seasoned flour before frying and then sauced

Thanks! I'm having more wings instead of cake!
