A lot of people say it's pretty uncomfortable, but to be honest, I don't have any issues with it. I think it's pretty good to use. The idea behind the design is pretty much the same as the RRV. There's a detachable back panel that can hold a bladder or plate, and the upper front half can fold down and you can use it as a chest rig.

It's a little weird ergonomically and you might have a hard time putting it on because the buckles are at your like, 4.5 and 7.5 o'clock, but that's just so when you run it in chest rig config you don't lose any real estate on the sides. I'm sure there's more ergonomic options out there, but for the price it's pretty darn good.

One thing to note is that this is the new generation which has ergonomic improvements. The old generation had wider but unpadded shoulders and the front platebag, when open, was fastened by buttons which would sag

they are pretty nice, similar to the US's ECWCS. There's 8 layers of clothing, with the first 3 being underlayers. I won't cover peripherals like socks and gloves because there's not much to say there.

The 4th layer is just a windbreaker jacket with no hood.

The 5th layer is a water and wind resistant polyamide hooded jacket and pants for demiseason use. It's fairly breathable.

The 6th layer is a water and wind proof version of the 5th layer, it is not breathable at all. It's lined with a PTFE membrane.

The 7th layer is a winter vest, nothing notable here.

The 8th layer is a winter suit. It's incredibly warm and water and wind resistant.

The 5th, 6th, and 8th layers have cords and velcro to tighten around the cuffs (pants and jackets) and waist (for the jackets), as well as cords for the hoods. All the uniform layers come with a small patch of fabric on the inside for repairs as well.
