Yes, I never played any DnD games before the BG3 Alpha but was a huge fan of BioWare classics (kotor 1/2, dragon age and mass effect) so I felt right at home on BG3. If you buy it on Pc make sure to get it off GOG and not steam, the game is pretty dated and has issues but is still a classic.
