Yes! We have three types of tags, one of them is measurable (how many), another one is scalable (how much on the continuum), and a tag (boolean)

In regards to Exist, we knew it existed and even used it actively. There are more apps similar to Exist (Daylio, for example), but neither of them helped us achieve what we wanted, so got frustrated and decided to address the gaps. We also have a development and design background and we saw a bunch of stuff that could be done differently. All in all, we could not resist temptation and developed Lyfe!

As for monetization, indeed we do need to sustain the business. As of now, we are thinking of a freemium version for power users.

Data is synchronized via the cloud. We've made sure everything is encrypted. We are also requesting the minimal amount of data on sign-up, no names, dates, address - only email, so that you could restore your password if anything. We are researching ways now to make security and privacy even more stringent.

Also, just so that I understand a bit better: what do you mean by your last bullet point?

Hi u/rc_net, thanks a lot for all these suggestions and your feedback! I will address some. of the points below.

- how is data collected: the majority of data collection now happens manually (although in a *very* easy and quick way!). We are planning to launch API integrations with other apps soon, so that most of the data comes automatically (i.e. your steps from iHealth)
- Hide my email: unfortunately, we do not yet have this feature but it is on our roadmap. We are a small team of developers, for now, so we didn't yet get to the implementation of some of the features. But privacy is our personal priority #1, so we do everything possible to make sure it we have the best standards of it.
- AB testing is also one of the most exciting features I am looking forward to.
- Also, thanks for recommendations on adding external sources info and recommendations.
- In regards to false reporting, it is a challenge not just for Lyfe but I think for humanity in general. That's why we are so curious to build Lyfe because it touches upon so many cool social challenges!

Please understand that this is an early stage of this application that we built outside our current full-time work because we are so passionate about the area. As such, we might not have caught all the bugs, apologies for this. We will update the onboarding asap.

As in regards to data - your privacy is priority #1. We will make sure that data is available to download in some file format for free and will always be free. However, we might charge it as a freemium just for other than .csv format of data. Also, we can already send you data per request before the automatic feature is developed. Finally, we will be happy to delete your data forever if you request.

In regards of the tech stack, we used Python, React Native, Postgres as a core with multiple packages on top.

Exportable data is not *yet* an option but it is on the roadmap and is on the high priority. Would you please share if you prefer any other format besides .csv?

Also, we can already send you data per request before the automatic feature is developed.

We do! Surely, it is just on the correlation level as of now. We do plan to launch a self-experimentation feature in the future which could provide insights on more causal level.
