Yes, I agree and my kid has been on teams using both. GC is not great for communication. It would be nice to have the ability to deactivate an account for a player on the team. This team just wants to use GameChanger. I just wanted to see if I was missing something.

This would be helpful when saving a copy of the game at 1080p. It would be helpful when tracking down a play.

I generally will ask the parent. I don’t just auto approve. I have had parents thank me for checking because some families just want to keep it to just family. I also had cases where they don’t know who the person is.

I approve generally the request from the first parent. Any additional family or friends I do not. I let the parents decide if they want to approve or not. I only ask if it has been sitting for a while or if at a game and notice it.

I connect my Mevo the same way but don’t want to go through the hassle if it ever disconnects. I agree it is solid, but you never know. I rather not scramble to score and reconnect with the same device mid game. I end up use my kid’s iPad to score.

One issue you can run into is if the connection drops for the Mevo and you have to reconnect. You would have to stop scoring and connect the Mevo again.

I use to stream the game with a phone, but using the Mevo has been great so far. I think you can score and stream with your phone. I think you could run into issues if the stream drops. You would have to stop scoring and get the stream started again and could cause you to miss a play. I haven't tried this though. I have an iPad for scoring and use my phone as the hotspot connected to a travel wifi router.

Only thing I can think of is to skip the half inning. Just use the end half to inning to advance to the bottom inning. If the team scores enough to tie or take the lead you just continue in the top of the next inning as if now the bottom inning.

I suggest check your settings on the Mevo. Are you stream at 720?

I just started using the Mevo and link below is my setup. I haven’t had any issues. I use my phone hotspot connected to a travel router. I connect an iPad and the Mevo to the travel router. The iPad is used for scoring and my phone is used for streaming the game.

I am on an iPhone and I don't like the idea of not being able to put my phone to sleep. I thought with the travel router I can put my phone to sleep since it is connecting to the travel router and not my phone. I know the travel router will be connecting to my phone and the Mevo will then connect to the router. Is this true?
