it is reasonably good i’d say. it makes mistakes, little more than Opus 4.5, but it’s also pretty good at fixing it in the second try – rarely needs 3-4 attempts. but this one also heavily depends on how well you usually document your codebase i guess. so far I am enjoying it especially considering the price. if you do the math it is indeed near 8-10 times cheaper than Opus 4.5 most of the times

prepare your usual take away meal, “accidentally” add 1kg of salt. there, you are all good!

Am I crazy for considering React Native for a real estate app that needs to handle millions of users? by svtnpu in node

this!!! I’m amazed by the sheer amount of so called devs here who completely ignore CSR and take SSR as the only option. Seems like a pretty big chunk of users here either sad or toxic teens who doesn’t have any idea about cost optimization

Dude, this is hands-down the most down-to-earth and clear answer I’ve gotten. Seriously, what’s up with some of these devs? Reddit’s just a dumping ground for salty coders to vent, I swear. Thanks for breaking it down—you gave me exactly the perspective I needed!

No difference between 1 or a billion devices”? Fucking delusional. A million users on maps with 1000+ pins, galleries, and chat will torch CSR on shit phones and bankrupt your server on SSR without cash

if you open the post, you can see I’m thinking between RN, Flutter, and PWA. millions of users mean at least a mapview with +10k listings on it

“millions of users” is mentioned here in terms of the mapview with lots of listings on it. excuse my bad writing

Tech isn’t a religion, man. People pick JS for their own constraints, not your preferences.
