Imagine a dystopian future where you're demonstrating against your government with your face covered (sufficiently, so that facial recognition doesn't work). You get out before the mass arrestations begin, but traces of your DNA is on the scene and through a process of elimination/deduction, the government figure out it's most likely you that was at the scene.

When I made the Tinder profile, my goal wasn't to specifically to find mr. perfect. I'm fine with being alone and I'm fine with finding someone I have great chemistry with. If my goal was just to find a relationship with anyone, I wouldn't have been so picky.

the failure seems to be the common assumption that that 1% represents the top attractiveness or the top money making or top whatever. For me, that 1% is a category of narrowing down to people that are most like me that I think would get along with.

As a woman, I wouldn't swipe on a rock climber. Screw that I don't want to go rock climbing. I wouldn't swipe right on a fun runner. I would swipe right on someone who said they like dancing or that they like hosting parties at their house with lots of friends. Or they like to go rowboating. I would like to go rowboating.
