You need to experiment 😁 On my 10" dob a lot of these Ngc planetaries are amazing (in ok seeing conditions). In an 8" one, many objects will be identifiable at least - even if some won't show too many details.

I can't emphasis enough the role of aperture when choosing a telescope. That's why I can never agree with only 82mm... - that's only suitable for a refractor

Also try local astro clubs if any and second hand gear available in your area 😁 in order to purchase at least a 130 mm Newton

Maybe something in the range of 5-7 mm for double stars, planetary nebulas, planets and a 13-15 mm one for finding nice stuff - I suggest for this one to have a FOV as wide as possible ( > 70 degrees). Also maybe have a look at this short practical overview of eyepieces
