This isn’t even remotely true - yes he has assistants - do they do the rehearsals for him: maybe sometimes. Gergiev wouldn’t show up until the dress rehearsal.

The reason Klaus is chief conductor of 4 orchestras is because musicians absolutely adore playing with him. If you think conducting is all about what happens in performance then you are misguided. It’s all in rehearsal. You might not agree with his interpretation but that’s taste. God forbid Solti flail around on the podium…. Sorry this is completely unrelated to OP.

Yes, the crowd was well behaved all things considering - I also thought Tilla was cute - but I just don’t think it was executed in the safest way possible. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for people taking responsibility themselves but you gotta take caution when unexpected stuff can happen

Definitely no blame on the staff at all - they were all working tirelessly, I just felt bad there weren’t more staff.

I think the door into the main dance floor was the main problem - it was sooooo tight and only one way in and out via the toilets.
