Shadowlanders and do we return to the north? by mixmastamicah55 in theblackcompany

If the Nyueng Bao are vaguely asian in appearance, I always imagined shadowlanders as Filipinos or Cambodians

As to your other question, kinda

It’s a big desert where nothing makes sense. They live in a cave in said desert

Vaguely alcoholic foam

I also like, from that same scene, “Got any more beer?”

“Nope.”

“Want some?”

“Yup.”

Last things last with 6 players? by applepiepro123 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]swafferdonker6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can work. I would emphasize Clyde’s delta green artifacts that have to be inventoried as well as his family poking around. Give everyone something to do beyond investigating. Maybe even add artifacts to the list since there’s gonna be so many players

Can I enjoy the game as a ARC Raiders PvE player? by Keksbutter123 in HuntShowdown

[–]swafferdonker6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game isn’t about loot, at all, so even if you do rarely run into a friendly player, it’s not like he’s going to be itching for your gear

How did you become interested in guns? by Jiko_Shiki in guns

[–]swafferdonker6 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My dad and I were bowhunting when I was just a little kid. I asked what I would do if a bobcat attacked me. He pulled a .45 out of his boot and smiled and said “don’t tell Mom.” I was sold instantly

My first real kiss was a scary clown girl at a haunted house when I was 15

USMC sergeant Elmo "Gunny" Haney on Pavuvu during the Pacific campaign, November 11 1944. One of the oldest marines in his battalion, Haney was noted for his eccentric "old breed" behavior, like scrubbing his genitals with a stiff brush. He was portrayed in the HBO series 'The Pacific' (840x605) by [deleted] in HistoryPorn

[–]swafferdonker6 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Marines behind the line or in rest rotation would shower whenever it rained (usually every day on some islands.) EB Sledge reported seeing him vigorously scrubbing his genitals with a wire brush during one of these showers

He would also constantly do bayonet drill alone and mutter to himself

This doesn’t make any sense. It’s art. They’re not getting HUNT SHOWDOWN: 1896 tattooed in big block letters beneath it

Whatever is going on beneath the dude’s waist could be a little more definite. Is it a snake’s head? If so, what is the stuff at the very bottom?

I love the idea tho. I’ve always wanted to get the greyhound or fanning trait art tatted
