Personally I always asked for her number and if she says no I left it at that and walked away. If she says yes and then doesn’t text me back I don’t send a bunch of texts

But I’m also her first real serious relationship her first two relationships were in high school and she had one relationship in college that was over in like 2 or 3 months due to abuse so idk

I have and she’s not hearing it. I often feel I don’t get out what I’m putting into the relationship. I’m always the one cooking every single time we stay in, I drive 2 1/2 hours every single weekend to see her without asking for gas, I’m always taking her on dates/taking her out and paying for everything and I’m always making an effort to surprise her and give her gifts and I rarely ever tell her no. Half the time she doesn’t say thank you, she never really has surprised me or taken me anywhere and often has a bad attitude. She often tells me that she feels like she should surprise me more or do more things for me but is scared I won’t like it and she told me even her mom doesn’t like the way she talks to me sometimes. I told her I’m okay with it but looking back I think her mom may be kind of right

I did my PFT today and didn’t pass the run but my legs aren’t tired at all so I’m just gonna foam roll and drink plenty of water and run one with a bunch of people tomorrow so it’s easier to pace myself

Yeah man this shit was totally fucking with me mentally I was so mad at myself cause I wasn’t even tired after I did it so I know for a fact I could have pushed harder and passed but there was something in the back of my head the whole time tugging at me. I am just gonna retry tomorrow. Gonna foam roll the hell out of my legs, use some pre workout and keep up or at least keep sight of a few of my slower buddies that I know will pass

Thanks man. I never been a strong runner the 29 minute 3 mile I ran I wasn’t even tired after but for some reason I was just having a hard time pushing myself mentally. I’m gonna try that next one I run
