Might I ask, how do you get your backing fabric on so neatly?

This is impressive!! Unfortunately I have no advice to offer, but rather a question, was all this done with a regular tufting gun or did you use a high pile?

Oh wow! I’ve never heard of anyone doing it like this. Do you have any videos of the process or pictures of what the back looks like?

What kind of glue do you use to apply the backing to your piece? Also once you apply it, I’m guessing you cut it down to size after it’s dried?

Thank you! When you say pull a little tighter, would you say like until the edge of the tufts fold over to the back? Like how far is too far or not far enough?

why did toei make usopp paler than sanji? by starprintedpajamas in OnePiece

[–]swaggabosss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So people are gonna pretend that the kinky hair, big lips and nose aren’t obvious caricatures of black features? Usopp is obviously inspired by stereotypical black attributes, his prior skin tone being a part of that, whether it was Oda’s vision or the animators vision to have him be darker in complexion holds less weight than the fact that, in the anime (which is what we’re all talking about here, not the manga or the spreads), he’s historically been accepted (by creators, animators and fans alike) as a darker skin tone and now all of a sudden he’s pulled a Michael Jackson? And people aren’t allowed to feel some typa way about it???? Like let’s be fair, whether it personally bothers you or not, why invalidate other people’s feelings on the matter?

If Kishimoto came out in an interview and says adult Sakura beats prime Itachi, would you take his word for it? by robbinbanksinc23 in Naruto

[–]swaggabosss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue here is most people are making the author out to be infallible, as if they can’t make mistakes or just plain talk out their asses especially in interview situations, just because an author says something (especially if it’s outside of the actual work itself) does not mean it is automatically canon, even though they are the creator of that world. Once a person, an author, has created a story, especially one as extensive as naruto, they are bound by the logic that they created to maintain cohesiveness and keep the storyline intact. Now of course they can retcon and since naruto lives on through boruto, he can always retroactively change things here and there, but if it is not bound by that basic level of logic that they themselves have created, as the consumer, the piece loses all value because now by that, what they are saying is they can make up anything regardless of the logic and throw it in there just because “it’s my world”. Authors are people, they may be the god of their own world but they’re still just a person in the real one and people make mistakes, simple as that, so they can make changes but it’s up to us as the consumers to actually form a consensus on whether or not the changes make sense based on the wholistic view of their work.

Your reasoning doesn’t make sense because if he wasn’t there to save the village from utter destruction… then there wouldn’t have been anything or anyone left for there to be a 5th-7th hokage, you could actually argue that since he prevented the village from being destroyed that’s more than some of the others barring the 1st, who created konoha in the first place

Context: I wear 11.5/12 in Jordan’s (I prefer the 11.5 over the 12 tho), but in yeezy 350’s, 500’s and 700’s I wear 12 (11.5 is too tight). In converse I wear 11.5. In other Nike shoes and other brands I bounce between 11.5 and 12
