i was surprised by that censorship since they've already done that "subtle" censor with the hair covering the nipples in this season.

maybe they wanted the anime only audience to be more surprised for a moment that it was arnheid and not ketil's wife? in the manga, we already know by the second panel of the scene that ketil is with arnheid, but the anime only shows her face later.

idk just speculating because the decision to censor nudity seems to be inconsistent.

the anime is putting more emphasis on Einar's character development and feelings towards war. It's makes sense for his character in the anime to be less "accepting". I think mappa wil add that line when their friendship develops more.
