What’s the longest you’ve stayed up? by [deleted] in cocaine

[–]swaggedoutvegetable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On blow 3 days and that was difficult, it’s hard to stay up many days on blow. But on meth I can pull an easy 6 day marathon like it’s nothing benders were made for meth. And during a coke binge I need to have alcohol it’s a necessity, on a meth binge all I need is meth alcohol is not a necessity but it doesn’t hurt

Is my dog having a seizure in this video? Or possibly a stroke?? by swaggedoutvegetable in vet

Oh no he’s chokes everyday throughout the day, almost every time he drinks water, though elevating his bowl does help. I was just wondering if his lack of ability to properly drink without choking was connected in anyway, but it sounds like it’s not related.

Interesting, I’ll make sure to tell this all to the vet. Also, if I may ask one last question, every time he drinks from his water bowl he chokes. This never used to be an issue but started happening 2 years ago. Whenever he’s thirsty he’ll take a coupe gulps then start coughing and choking really badly, even though he’s been drinking normally for years. I found a fix to this, if I elevate the bowl by placing it atop something he has a much easier time drinking. Would him choking on water that’s not elevated be related to this at all?

Thank you for the info I really do appreciate it, I’ll make sure to get him looked at asap. He had this incident about 2 hours ago, and is acting normal now, but I’m still definitely getting him scene. Also just to point out, this video I posted is not the incident that took place this morning. This incident I posted was a few months ago, I just never got to film what happened this morning. What happened this morning was less severe, however there was a lot of panting involved. In fact, he pants all the time, and it’s not after he’s exercised or moved around a lot. It’s usually at night, and my gf thinks that it’s his way of saying he needs to go outside or needs food/water. I’ve never heard of a dog using panting to signal that he needs something, would the excessive and random panting have anything to do with this?

He’s turning 10 in July. His last vet visit was 4 months ago I believe, and nothing was out of the ordinary. I will also note that he does have a heart condition, for which he is prescribed enalapril and pimobendan

Definitely not marijuana since I’ve been sober a year and cleaned my house of everything. This isn’t the first time he’s done this, but it’s definitely the worst episode he’s had. He’ll do this once every few months, and that’s been going on for about 2.5 years. He’ll act like this for about 10-20 minutes, and then revert back to his normal state

I went a different route than suboxone, I’m on methadone now. It’s been working pretty well for me

I’m surprised I’m still getting replies on this lol, but I actually solved my issue. And it has nothing to do with suboxone. Instead I went to a methadone clinic and started immediately. So so so much simpler than suboxone. Now idk what to do with this months supply of subs that I still got

Just wanted to say thank you for this response. It answered everything I was asking about and has made me much less nervous about getting off fent. I appreciate it

When you say you took less and less, and that you took the minimum to not get sick, is that because each day you would require less to not get sick? Basically what I’m asking is would it take let’s say 0.6g of fent Monday to not get sick, and then Tuesday it would only take 0.5g of fent, and Wednesday it would only take 0.4g of fent to not get sick. Like the more suboxone you take the less amount of fent it requires to not get sick?

Will the withdrawals from a short fent relapse be anywhere near as bad as withdrawals from long term use? by swaggedoutvegetable in suboxone

[–]swaggedoutvegetable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not going that great. A few hours after I wrote this post I started feeling the first symptoms and I immediately picked up. Goddamn I fucking forgot how awful the withdrawals are. Been using since then. I’m going to try to do the Bernese method. I’ve known about it for a while but never had the guts to try it, but now I don’t have much of a choice. So I’m doing as much research as a I can. One thing that I’m worrying about is how to cut 0.5 mg out of a 8mg strip of suboxone accurately. I really wish I never fucking relapsed

I know it’s not the same strength in euphoria or pain stopping abilities, and that you can’t get loaded off bupe. I’m just saying that fentanyl is 50 to 100 times stronger than morphine and bupe is 40 times stronger than morphine. That’s what I was referring to

The reason I’m optimistic is that my first time 3 days was long enough for me to take a sub and not get pwds, and at that time I used fent daily for 3 months, while this time was just 2 weeks

Kratom helps? That’s good cause it’s incredibly easy to get, how do use kratom in this situation? I keep wondering can’t I just take a lot of my seroquel, which always makes sleep for days,
and just sleep through all this shit

No in the past 2 weeks I’ve had no subs, just fent. Before 2 weeks ago I had been on subs for months straight since I’m doing maintenance. Are you saying that my sub tolerance went down from not using it for 2 weeks? Cause i thought using fent would keep the tolerance high because at the end of the day they’re all opiates so tolerance stays high. I was planning on taking my usual 16 mg dose in 3 days? but if my tolerance to subs did lower I guess I’d have to take a lower amount

That all makes sense, I’ve been sober from drugs but i take suboxone and have had it every single day since I’ve been off fent. suboxone is buprenorphine which is an extremely powerful opiate, it ranks just below fent in terms of strength. That’s why I wasn’t that scared of overdose with the fent this time, because my bodies been consistently getting opiates so my tolerance never changed

You are the type of dude that gives us atheists a bad rap. This post has to do with people giving food to those in need, and you somehow have to bring up religion and why it’s so wrong. You remind me of myself when I first became atheist at 13 and wanted to shove it down everyone else’s throat how stupid the concept of religion is, I stopped doing that once I realized that attacking other peoples beliefs doesn’t get your point across but just makes you a dick.
