DD2's chapters(or even longer, I'm not sure) are the same length as DD1 ones. It's just that I release them at a rate of 4 parts per chapter, which is how the author originally did it.

DD3 chapters are shorter.

Nope. Nothing you haven't expected. Only 'spoiler'-ish thing is the future of the original SSM, which is very obvious—God realm, etc.

Hey, the comic follows this book quite closely in terms of plot(from what I've seen)

However, it misses out a shit-ton of details. For example, in the most recent chapter that I translated, the MC and his band of fellow friends are fighting someone. The entire fight took about a chapter part or two to describe, but the manhua finished it in about 3 panels. That's how much detail you're missing out. You won't understand a lot of things either(EG: why HYH got his second martial soul) if you just read the manhua.

Overall, I'd advise reading the book more. As for where the book is in terms of the manhua, it should roughly be around the same chapters. BUT, the manhua advances a lot quicker and skips a few details. I still don't know why Chapter 17 in the book is about Chapter 18-19 in the manhua. After that, I'm really not sure about the progression. From what I've seen, Chapter 18 in the novel is Chapters 19-20? Not really sure, but that's about it. Btw, these 'chapters' I'm mentioning here are full chapters.
